Overview

Dr. Kehtarnavaz joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at UTD in 2002. Prior to that, he was a professor of electrical engineering at Texas A&M University. As of 2014, he has 27 years of academic and industrial experience, and his scholarly contributions include 8 books and more than 300 journal papers/conference papers/patents/industry manuals/editorials. He is currently serving as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Real-Time Image Processing, Vice Chair of the IEEE Dallas Section, and Chair of the SPIE Conference on Real-Time Image and Video Processing. Dr. Kehtarnavaz is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of SPIE, and a licensed Professional Engineer.
