  • NASA Group Achievement Award in 1993 for contribution to the success of Galileo Optical Experiment (GOPEX) demonstration (first successful demonstration of an optical communications link between a ground-based transmitter and a deep-space vehicle) at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
