Overview

Dr. Hoi Lee received his B.Eng., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1998, 2000 and 2004, respectively. In Jan. 2005, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, the University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, TX, where he is currently a Full Professor.

Dr. Lee is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I (TCAS-I). He serves as the Chair of Power Management Technical Sub-Committee of the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference and the technical program committee members of the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the IEEE International Symposium on Power Semiconductors and ICs (ISPSD). He was an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II (TCAS-II) from 2007 to 2009 and served again in 2014 and 2015. Dr. Lee is a senior member of IEEE..

Dr. Lee has received National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2011. He was also the co-recipient of the Best in Session Award twice in the 2013 and 2015 Annual SRC TECHCON conference and the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award in the 2002 IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference.
