OVERVIEW

Dr. Henderson directs the High Frequency Circuits and Systems Laboratory.  Her group’s research vision is to use enabling technologies to realize high performance microwave circuits and electronic packages for high frequency communication applications. The research team facilitates microwave and millimeter-wave design, simulation, fabrication and characterization of passive components, circuits and antennas and integrated packages for communication systems. Her team members are skilled in the fabrication of passive components and integration techniques using clean room thin film processing.  They also have experience with advanced millimeter-wave characterization and modeling.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Enabling technologies for mm-wave & um-wave passive circuits; RF, um-wave, mm-wave ICs; MEMS simulation & characterization; metamaterial filter design.
