OVERVIEW

Dr. Bhatia leads research in the IDEA Laboratory. His research investigations have spanned the fields of Architecture and Computer-Aided Design for Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Reconfigurable Computing, Power Conversion Methods, and Healthcare Devices. Recent research in power conversion has resulted in breakthrough results and founding of a startup company, Cirasys Corporation. Cirasys has received initial funding from NSF, UT System, and Texas Emerging Technology Fund. His current research focus is in the areas of Domain-Specific Computing architectures with applications in AI and High-Performance Computing.
