Overview

Dr. Minn joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the UT-Dallas as an Assistant Professor in 2002 and became a tenured Associate Professor in 2008 and a tenured Full Professor in 2014. As of 2020, he has supervised 17 Ph.D. Dissertations and 2 Master’s Theses, and has published 78 IEEE journal papers and 97 IEEE conference papers. He served as an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications during 2005-2015 and for the International Journal of Communication Networks during 2008-2015. He currently serves as an Editor-at-Large for the IEEE Transactions on Communications since 2016. He was a Symposium Co-Chair for the 2009 IEEE VTC (Fall) Wireless Access Track and the 2014 IEEE Globecom Wireless Communications Symposium, and a member of over twenty IEEE technical program committees. Dr. Minn is an IEEE Fellow since 2016.
