UNDERGRADUATE OVERVIEW
Established within the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, one of Texas’s top public engineering schools, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has robust undergraduate offerings.
Additionally, the department is home to a dynamic internship program connecting over 1,200 undergraduate students each year to experiences in their fields of study. Open access research labs, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities and hands-on experience set up our undergraduate students for success as professional, ethical leaders.
The Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), under the General Criteria and the Electrical Engineering Program Criteria.
