As transistor scaling approaches its inherent limits, novel interdisciplinary approaches are required to efficiently utilize emerging nanoscale technologies in computing systems. Strategies must be developed across all levels of abstraction, from the device chemistry and physics to the overall system structure. This symposium aims to bring together researchers throughout the region across all related disciplines to exchange ideas and increase interdisciplinary collaboration.

Relevant topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Nanodevice design, synthesis, fabrication, and analysis
  • Circuit/architecture design based on emerging technologies
  • Data/information processing enabled by emerging technologies
